“Make It* Happen have done what it says on the tin – they helped take the germ of an idea for Cross Pollinate, and a few months later it happened!”
Ian Wilkins, Chair of Alvor Charitable Trust
“The Cross Pollinate Foundation which Matt Bird set up and organises is an innovative and fun “Dragons Den” style event for smaller Christian social action charities. Matt does a superb job of running it – combining roles as Chairman, MC and general inspiration to greater philanthropy.”
Jeremy Marshall, CEO of C Hoare & Co
“Matt Bird is a fabulous host and one of the best networkers I know. His work at the Cross Pollinate Foundation has enabled a simple idea to generate hundreds of thousands of pounds for numerous small charities who would otherwise struggle to have a voice. What more need I say than that? I fully recommend Matt as a business partner.”
Martin Rich, Director at Social Finance
“Matt Bird is a genuine professional – he is passionate and dedicated to the work he does and committed to the relationships and people he serves. Matt is well connected and connects well with people. Matt continues to deliver excellence in all he does and I would recommend Matt to anyone who is serious about wanting to see positive change and making a difference. The Cross Pollinate Foundation is a great organisation and it reflects Matt’s generosity and ethos.”
Andy Ransberry, Head Major Gifts at Samaritan’s Purse
“As a business owner and philanthropist I have been impressed by Matt Bird’s passion, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. The Cross Pollinate Foundation works because of Matt’s ability to bridge the gap between philanthropists needs and non-profits wants. As chair of the Cross Pollinate Foundation he has assisted in releasing substantial financial resources to the non-profit world which might not have otherwise been given.”
